My name is Izabela. I am driven by a deep passion for branding, whether creating logos, packaging design.
I’m also interested in sustainability as well as environmental issues. My desire is to make a positive impact through my designs.
I am constantly honing my skills in various design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign as well as staying up to date with current design trends and techniques.
I am actively seeking inspiration from various resources, from art and photography to architecture and fashion to broaden my creative horizons and bring fresh ideas into my designs.
During my studies I learnt the importance of collaboration and effective communication in the design process. I enjoy analysing briefs and finding innovative solutions that meet clients' objectives while pushing boundaries of creativity. Therefore I am excited to continue learning and growing in this dynamic field and I look forward to contributing my creative skills and meaningful projects in the future.
My final major project is about climate change. I wanted to design my own net zero brand that is environmentally friendly, where I can sell my own merch and offers better solution for the planet by better green my own products and service, as well as raising funds to tackle climate crisis.
There are many graphic designers out there that claim to be environmentally conscious. They shout that they use soy- and vegetable-based inks and print on recycled paper. But the truth is that anyone can do this. There’s no question that these efforts are a great start when it comes to making a design piece more sustainable, but I believe eco-conscious graphic design goes further.
Although there are many businesses that claim they’re sustainable, in reality they are taking more or less true environmental statements and twisting them or ignoring certain aspects to make the product or company seem environmentally friendly. My aim is to intergrate a net zero approach into my business model, to offset remaining carbon through partnerships with verified carbon offset projects. These initiatives focus on reforestation, renewable energy, development and community based projects that contribute to a greener and sustainable future. Commitment of the brand goes beyond the operations.
The brand is passionate about raising awareness and funds to tackle climate change. Through collaborations and initiatives, we organise events, campaigns, and fundraisers to support organisations working on climate change mitigation and adaptation projects. A portion of the sales revenue is dedicated to these efforts, ensuring that our customers play an active role in the fight against climate change with every purchase they make.
