Gita Govinda
Graphic Design - BA (Hons)
Gita Govinda is a graphic designer from Italy. She specialises in editorial graphic design. Her graphic forms are heavily influenced by Polish Graphic design traditions acquired after her student exchange programme in the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice.
Gita’s approach always favours a formal research through a meticulous study of typographic and text grid layouts. Printmaking and digital graphics are her favoured methods of working. She takes inspiration from design aspects in everyday life, using her own intuition as a core part in her practice.
