Vicky Crimes
Illustration and Animation - BA (Hons)
Hello, my name is Vicky. I have just finished my final year of a three-year course in Illustration and Animation BA at the Cambridge School of Art.
I enjoy telling stories through drawing and animation, and seeing them come to life with colour and movement. I grew up watching cartoons as a child and I was fascinated by them, it has always been my ambition to create something that excited me as much as those films and programmes had. I have always enjoyed drawing and constantly wanted to better myself. I have improved greatly across my studies at Anglia Ruskin University as I new nothing about animation when I started and now have a lot of passion for animating.
My graduation film began with a few sketches on holiday, inspired by the setting of Malta, this project allowed me to escape to a warm climate, free to roam the streets of a magical island. Other animations I have worked on include collaborations with the Fitzwilliam Museum and Curveball Media, however I am also always working on a personal project.
I look forward to future projects where I can challenge myself with characters interacting more or even talking. If you want see more of my work or get in contact with me you find the information below.
