Film and Television Production - BA (Hons)

I am from Lisbon, Portugal. I have a diverse background - I have studied sciences and I studied in a music conservatory as well. My varied background gives me a different creative perspective that was useful during my film course. I really enjoy the organization and planning process to make films. I am interested to work as a producer in the future.

My graduation project is a short film called Roots, the film was aimed to be filmed in Lithuania, but due to unforeseen circumstances it was filmed in the UK. Roots portrays the story of a young woman that lives with her mother in an isolated farm and one day she wakes up and founds that her mother died. The film shows how the daughter deals with the process of grief.

I was the producer of this film, it was very challenging and interesting project to do. Being the producer of this film, gave me experience to be able to pursue my goal to be a producer in the film and TV industries.
