Drama and English Literature - BA (Hons)

I have always been fascinated with performance, creating characters and character impersonations. I try to communicate real situations, topics and variations of personalities through using the escapist medium of storytelling. I have been able to transfer this communication to backstage as well, from my experiences with lighting and set for a range of theatre productions; for example, at the ADC Theatre. My hope is to continue to pursue both acting and backstage, both individually and in combination. My goal is to continue to be frequently creating in theatre as well as exploring my passion for screen acting and behind the scenes for film and television.

It Was All My Design is my third-year play which I wrote, co-directed and acted in. Being a murder mystery, it involves a web of plots which become unravelled under the circumstances of tense relationships, driven intentions and revenge. Writing the script for this play has allowed me to put my writing into practice, and has furthered my awareness of translating imagined ideas to staging a theatre piece.
