From hairs on the skin to scars from the battles, Laura Kolodka works in the medium of photography in order to release the ongoing stigma built on the body and the differences in which each and every one hold.

Her work promotes the reality of the beauty in the transformations the human body takes throughout its journey of life compared to the unrealistic standard of beauty that controls the minds of many through the power of the media.

Exploring the reality of the body, Laura reflects the confidence and positivity that is felt through this journey of self-love, exposing the true identity of each and every individual.

Using the power of photography, Laura gives a voice to the individuals but further from this, the part of society battling against the issues of body image, exposing the reality of the beauty from every curve, to every spot, every area in which actually creates the true identity of each individual.

Following on with the passion to express the true reality of beauty to battle against the struggles and issues towards body image, Laura aims to take this into the community of the fashion industry to raise awareness of the damage that is caused towards body image, and to change the way in which they use photography to inspire young viewers on fashion as well as how beautiful the human body truly is.
