Illustration - BA (Hons)

Drawing underpins most of my work, either digitally or traditionally, along with a sense of humour, vibrant colour, bold images and a creative imagination.

I like anything a little different, and love finding the ‘weirdness’ in people, animals and objects. I especially like to draw people. I’m currently enjoying making my images move, It’s fun and I will carry on experimenting with moving illustration.

The Illustration course at Cambridge school of Art has taught me that illustration can come under the umbrella of so many different techniques and mediums. The key to good work is good ideas and I have enjoyed experimenting and using varying techniques and mediums to create images. The ‘All the world's a stage‘ brief in year one comes to mind as a really enjoyable and creative brief.

As a mature student it was really nice to have this time and freedom along with exciting set briefs to experiment and develop my creativity.
