Digital Media Production - BA (Hons)
I am a Digital Media Production student coming to the end of my degree at Anglia Ruskin University.
Throughout my degree I have gained skills in all areas of film making by collaborating with the film and tv production course and working with StoryLab Research Institute. In this time, I have created a VR film to raise awareness about knife crime. I have also been credited in other short films as a camera operator, drone operator, sound composer, sound design and I have also acted in two films.
I would like to continue to work in this field as I have grown a strong passion being involved in productions both in front and behind the camera.
My Major project is based on the love that I have for documentaries, I wanted to explore this area more. I decided to direct my own documentary about a young female boxer and I aim to publish this in the future. It is a story of a young female and her struggles to become a professional boxer. We followed Harli Whitwell and her coach Stephen Whitwell who is also her father. Harli’s journey began as she worked towards an important fight in front of her home crowd, and I was lucky enough to be there to capture it.
