My name is Naveet Kaur Johal. I am 21 years old and currently in my third year working towards my BA(Hons) in Graphic Design at Cambridge School of Art. Graphic Design has enabled me to express myself in a way that not only shows my curiosity in my designs but also expands my skillset in various fields such as typography, branding, package design etc. I would continue to follow my passion for design and explore my curiosity further.
For my major project brief, I decided to do something which would be personal to me. I have mild myopia, also known as short-sightedness. I set myself a brief where I attempted to create a typeface that would be easier to read for myself without glasses while I am working on the computer. I created a full set of typefaces with upper-case, lower-case, punctuation marks and numbers.
