Graphic Design - BA (Hons)

"Divergent, Considerate, Geeky, Conceptualist." Words that describe myself and my approach to design.

When it comes to work, I have two ways of designing. If it's a project that's intended to be informative or general purpose, I'll apply an approach of minimalism and UX Design, thinking what's best for the audience that will be viewing it and the branding.
On the other hand, if I'm to be more creative I use my varied art experiences and inspirations, to think of interesting and "out there" ideas.

For the informative approach, my inspirations are people like Don Norman and a variety of texts I've read on design, whilst also using firsthand experience of seeing the good and bad in designs.
When being creative, artists and designers like Piet Mondrian, Olly Moss, Kyle Lambert, and various video games I draw from.

After 5 years at ARU studying both Graphic Design and Computer Games Technology, I feel best suited for doing graphic design with a focus on more digital aspects and work.
My dream is being a UX Designer one day, as I have a drive, a passion and a deep consideration for others when designing.
