Catherine uses multiple mediums, including collage, drawing and photography to create work that visually communicates written data.
For her final project of her degree, Catherine focused on the contents of her mother's address book, which has collected the data of every person that has come and gone from her life over the past 30 years. Having dissected the book, Catherine then made five categories A-Z, additions and subtractions, relationships, covers and locations. Using the data in these categories, Catherine made multiple responses that represent the information visually, then created a replica of the original address book with the pieces of visual data she had made.
