The portraits Kira produces are self-reflective. From taking an interest in the way her grandfather documented her entire life she is starting do the same using her sister. Mainly focusing in on females and the topic of duality, her work lends itself to lots of artistic interpretations and opinions that bring the portraits to life in front of everyone.
As a Fine Artist and not a photographer her work has more hidden meanings behind the eyes of her chosen model. The bond there has grown and developed since starting to work together and it really shows in the progression on Kira's work. Her previous work has looked at people from afar, whereas in this final year she has focused in and taken the time to look in detail at the person she wants to show.
All Kira's work is photographic print onto formatted glossy paper.
