MA Children's Book Illustration
Hello, I’m Yumeno. I’ve just completed the MA Children's Book Illustration.
I was born in Tokyo and studied BA and MA in printmaking at Tama Art University (Tokyo). After graduation, I was working at an elementary school as an art teacher for 5 years. That experience made me decided to come to the UK to study children's book illustration. My works containing whimsical, adorable, fluffy creatures and children have been exhibited over 20 times including twice in solo exhibitions.
I’m now focusing on telling stories whilst envisioning original ideas, and my dream is to publish a picture book! I’m back in Tokyo and working at the printmaking course at the art uni as a research associate. I love art, I love drawing pictures, I love printmaking. I’m always into art!
